Rebuilding a Humane Relationship
with the Body
This modular workshop totals four hours and offers evidence-based solutions along with actionable tools and true communal care that avoid the persistent individualization of systemic issues in differing communities.
Participants leave equipped with the tools to weave a deeper, healthier grasp of their relationship to the greater culture.
Tapestry:
Reconstructing Instrument, Insight & Instinct
A seminar for artists and those who work closely with them. This workshop series allows for deeper integration of core TAMHI principles by inviting a restructuring of the work community as a humane site that does not invite re-traumatization.
Participants leave equipped to inhabit the experience of
reciprocal resiliency as it applies to the art of work.
Youth:
Somatic Screenwriting to Embody Character
This offering gives students ages 12-18 tools to help them keep (or find) their sense of self and vitality by helping to mitigate a host of issues that come from chronic stress and identity issues that form at an early age.
This three hour workshop will provide a short lesson on somatic fundamentals that will be weaved through a creative writing workshop where students will have the opportunity to write scenes that put
somatic education to use.
“It was such a meaningful experience, not only for us as individuals but also for how we show up in our communities.”
